Port City Raceway Set for Rujo Rumble Championship Weekend

TULSA, OK — Port City Raceway is preparing for three days of micro sprint activity as the Rujo Rumble returns October 29–31, culminating with the track’s final points night of the 2026 season.

The event opens Thursday with practice before Friday’s preliminary program and Saturday’s championship night.

Five divisions are listed for the weekend: Junior Sprints, A-Class Micros, Restricted Micros, Non-Wing Micros and Sportsman Micros.

Saturday’s program carries particular importance for competitors pursuing track championships, with Port City officially designating October 31 as its final points night.

Three Days of Racing Activity

Thursday, October 29, is scheduled as practice night, giving teams an opportunity to prepare for the weekend’s competition.

Friday, October 30, features preliminary racing, followed by Saturday’s championship program.

According to the track’s official event listings, Friday and Saturday share the following published schedule:

  • Pits open: 4:00 PM
  • Gates open: 6:30 PM
  • Hot laps: 6:35 PM
  • Racing starts: 6:35 PM

All times are Central. The schedule lists the same five micro sprint divisions for both competition nights.

Championship Implications

The Rujo Rumble arrives near the conclusion of Port City’s 2026 racing calendar and represents the final scheduled opportunity for competitors to earn weekly championship points.

That distinction makes Saturday’s event particularly significant for drivers who have spent the season competing in the track’s regular divisions.

The official schedule confirms the final-points designation, although updated championship margins should be checked against the latest published standings before identifying specific title scenarios.

Looking Ahead

Port City Raceway has long been an important venue in Oklahoma micro sprint competition, hosting weekly programs alongside major regional and national events.

The Rujo Rumble continues that schedule with a full weekend dedicated to the track’s regular micro sprint divisions.

Competitors and spectators should consult the speedway’s official event listings for any race-day schedule changes.

Micro Sprint Hub will follow the weekend’s results and championship developments as official information becomes available.
