The dirt was flying and the engines were screaming this past Saturday, June 27, 2026, as 86 race teams descended upon I-44 Speedway in Oklahoma City for another thrilling night of the Dacus Heating & Air Super 7 Weekly Series. With the NOW600 National Series heading to Dodge City Raceway Park for their Independence Day Weekend special, local and regional drivers brought their absolute best to the 1/5-mile red dirt oval, making sure the fans got every penny’s worth of action.
From turf tires to A-Class winged warriors, seven distinct divisions took to the track. Here is a look at the drivers who mastered the fields and took home the hardware this week.
A-Class Winged Micros: Nunley Continues to Roll
In the highly competitive Mr. Electric NOW600 A-Class Micro division, Jett Nunley proved once again why he is a force to be reckoned with. Starting from the outside of the front row, Nunley wasted no time making his move. He drove a flawless 20-lap feature to capture the victory over a hard-charging Dawson Woods, who finished a respectable second. Mason Daugherty completed the podium, capping off a stellar night of winged micro action. Nunley and Woods both showed early speed by claiming their respective heat race victories before battling it out in the main event.
Non-Wing Micros: Burley Goes Wire-to-Wire
Sometimes, you just hit the setup perfectly, and that is exactly what Dalton Burley did in the Victory Motorsports NOW600 Non-Wing Micro feature. Starting from the pole position, Burley never looked back, leading every single lap of the 25-lap main event to score an impressive and dominant victory. Behind him, the battle for position was fierce. Garyn Howard put on a show, working his way forward from the fourth starting spot to secure the runner-up finish, while Mason Daugherty picked up his second podium of the night by finishing third.
Restricted Micros: Jenkins Holds Off the Pack
The Wright Water NOW600 Restricted Micro class boasted the largest car count of the night, with 19 hungry drivers taking the green flag. Clayton Jenkins started on the pole and made the most of his track position, leading the entire distance to secure the feature win. However, the drive of the night arguably belonged to Brett Vanzant, who sliced his way through the field from the 13th starting position to claim an incredible runner-up finish. Audrie Slough also impressed, advancing from eighth to complete the podium.
Turf Tire Micros: Anderson Charges to the Front
In the B&R Services NOW600 Turf Tire Micro division, Luke Anderson continued his recent hot streak. Starting from the fourth position, Anderson methodically worked his way to the front, ultimately capturing the 20-lap feature victory. Kyle Hassett, who started on the pole, brought home a solid second-place finish, while Chris Russell rounded out the podium after an earlier heat race win.
Junior Sprints: Cooper Converts Front Row Start
The future stars of sprint car racing put on a great show in the Tulsa Shootout NOW600 Junior Sprints. Carson Cooper, starting on the outside of the front row, quickly took control of the 15-lap feature and drove to victory lane. Wyatt Turner chased him down but had to settle for second, while Elijah Redman completed the podium.
Modifieds and Tuners: Brown and McCathern Sweep
In the JAM Powersports 600cc Modifieds, Brodan Brown was simply untouchable. Brown swept the night, winning his heat race and leading Kyle Knight and Brendon McCratheron across the finish line in the main event.
Meanwhile, in the Industrial Machine Co. USRA Tuners, Brendon McCathern mirrored that perfection. McCathern won both his heat race and the feature event, holding off Ernest Purcell and Robert Horn to cap off a flawless evening of racing.
With the action heating up and the summer stretch of racing in full swing, the micro sprint scene is delivering incredible racing week in and week out. Congratulations to all the feature winners at I-44 Speedway, and we look forward to seeing who steps up to the plate next weekend!
