Purdue, Nunley, Bolt and Larson Score Wednesday Night NOW600 Wins at KAM Raceway

Opening night of LA Sprinkler Nebraska Speedweek presented by AllTeam Sports brought a packed midweek program to KAM Raceway, where the Factory Fourteen NOW600 National Series featured four divisions and four different Big R Stores A-Main winners on Wednesday night.

Aiden Purdue, Jett Nunley, Gavyn Bolt and Audrey Larson each left Hastings with feature victories as the national micro sprint tour kicked off its Nebraska Speedweek stretch. The evening drew strong car counts across the card, including 39 entries in Hyper Racing NOW600 Non-Wing Micros, 28 in Permastone Countertop Solutions NOW600 A-Class Micros, 15 in CSI NOW600 Restricted Micros and 15 in Sawyer Chassis NOW600 Junior Sprints.

Purdue opened the feature portion of the night by taking the 25-lap Non-Wing Micro main event. After starting on the outside of the front row, Purdue drove to the win ahead of polesitter Wout Hoffmans, while Hank Soares completed the podium. Brant Woods and Jett Nunley rounded out the top five. Purdue also showed speed earlier in the program, topping his qualifying group with a 10.902-second lap before finishing second in heat race action.

Nunley added his own victory later in the evening in the A-Class Micro division. Starting from the pole, Nunley controlled the 25-lap main event and held off Jadyn Friesen and Hank Soares for the win. Aiden Purdue continued his strong night by advancing from ninth to fourth, while Brant Woods finished fifth. Purdue posted the fastest A-Class qualifying lap overall at 10.465 seconds, narrowly ahead of Friesen’s 10.471-second effort.

In Restricted Micro competition, Bolt put together one of the most complete performances of the program. He won his heat race, started the feature from the pole and finished the job in the 25-lap A-Main. Mason Corbin crossed the line second, Levi Ballard finished third, Lucas Corbin placed fourth and Brooks Buoy completed the top five. Bolt also led his qualifying group with an 11.019-second lap.

Larson closed the night with a Junior Sprint victory in the 20-lap feature. After starting second, Larson raced past the field to beat Bryton Buoy and Tucker Friesen to the checkered flag. Gio Anderlini and Kasen Kalkwarf finished fourth and fifth. Larson was also quickest in her qualifying group with a 13.089-second lap and placed second in her heat before winning the main event.
