At some point you have to stop calling it a hot streak and start calling it what it is. Jett Nunley isn't hot. Hot streaks end. This is just who he is now.
The Marlow, Oklahoma driver made it four wins in a row over the weekend, and if you've lost count of the season total, don't worry, so has everybody else. It's 17. Seventeen feature wins in 2026, and we're only in July. To put that in perspective, Nunley won 10 features all of last season, a year most drivers would frame and hang on the wall. He's already blown past that by seven with half the summer still on the schedule. That's not improvement. That's a different driver showing up wearing the same helmet.
The numbers behind the win total are somehow even more ridiculous. Nunley has rolled through 47 features this year, which means his win percentage is sitting north of 30 percent. Read that again. Every time this kid pulls into the staging lanes, there's basically a one-in-three chance he's parking it in victory lane. And when he doesn't win, he's still there. 33 top fives. 41 top tens. In 47 starts. That means Nunley finishes inside the top ten almost 90 percent of the time he takes a green flag. There are drivers who would sell a kidney for that kind of consistency, and he's doing it while also winning at a clip that borders on unfair.
And before anybody starts with the "yeah but he just has one track figured out" nonsense, save it. Nunley has won at seven different tracks in 2026. Seven. Different surfaces, different configurations, different fields, same result. That's the part that should scare people. Track specialists exist in this sport. Guys who own one bullring and disappear everywhere else. That's not what this is. This is a driver who unloads fast wherever the trailer stops.
The results have him sitting exactly where you'd expect: first in points in the NOW600 national series in both A-Class and Non-Wing. Not one or the other. Both. Chasing two national titles at the same time while winning at a 30 percent clip is the kind of season that gets talked about for years after it's over.
Credit where it's due to the Factory Fourteen team as well, because seasons like this don't happen on driving talent alone. Somebody is bolting together race cars that are fast every single night, at every single track, in multiple divisions. The driver gets the trophy pictures, but the operation behind Nunley is clearly clicking on every level right now.
So here's where we're at. Four in a row. Seventeen on the year. Seven more wins than all of 2025 combined. Two national points leads. Wins at seven tracks. If you're racing micros right now, Jett Nunley is the kid to beat, and the ugly truth is that nobody has figured out how to do it with any consistency. The rest of the field isn't chasing a points lead anymore. They're chasing a guy who's lapping the sport.
Somebody's going to have to cool him off eventually. Right now, there's zero evidence anyone can.
